From diesel trucks to camping trailers, I have always heard that it is important to always replace all batteries at the same time with new, fresh, identical batteries because the strongest one will try to charge the weakest one. I assume that is only when there is no charging going on (alternator in the truck nor converter in the camper). Last summer I saw 6 batteries in parallel in a high end fifth wheel. They were close together so no significant resistance between them, but one end was closer to the converter. If the analysis is for fun then more information is needed for electrical engineering nodal analysis. If this is for installation, just hook up 2 or more identical, new, batteries in parallel and close together.
