Both of those brands are using Chinese made , Honda clone engines, , but the inverter generator portions of these units are seldom mentioned in comments and reviews. They are all likely the same series of patent buy out, or clones from a single manufacturers line.

For that matter, the same plant may be turning out the Honda or Yamaha inverter/generator units. Again, engines are followed closely, but you seldom hear any questions or comments on the genny part.
