Pure lead AGM typically loses between 1-2% month DEPENDING ON GEL SPECIFIC GRAVITY. Hot shots are boosting density of gel pack to 1.300 in an attempt to juice performance numbers. These batteries lose more than the 1.285 gel packs.
Even gelled electrolyte batteries love to be "tickled" every once in awhile with a little charge. This reduces the LAMINATION PHENOMENON of a quiescent VRB electrolyte pack.
