I have had the same couple of 12V AGM batteries in our RV - coming up on 7 years in a few weeks. I have left them almost continuously connected (when in storage in our back yard) to the RV's stock 13.8 volt fixed converter, but I do disconnect them on real hot days during the summer.
However, my AGM batteries may be a bit unusual in that their recommended float voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 volts. I suspect that the best for AGM batteries is just to be sure and keep them off boost voltages (14+ voltages) once they're fully charged - just like should be done with wet lead-acid batteries.
