Thanks for the post wa8yxm. I did just what you suggested with the 93 PADP. I had her 7.5 genset run the house wile the power was out for an extended time. Worked like a champ. The well is 220VAC but it's only 100' dep. Genset handled it w/o issue!
Looks like today we woke up to a thin sheet of ice over everything. One of those stay inside days.
Have all the water drained from the tanks. Getting ready to add the pink stuff. This Discovery is new to us so it will take awhile.
I have a whole house filter in the wet bay. I pulled it as well.
I'd LOVE to add the valve to the water pump so I can have the pump suck the pink stuff BUT that dam pump is BURIED back up under that panel with all your vales & such. If I am able to get under their & work with that pump I might as well swap it out. I have a BAD hammering with the current pump. I'm thinking of swapping out the original pump.
I want to make this a ONE TIME pump swap if I indeed install a new pump. I was with Deb at C.W. and ran across this
