Pay as you go satellite

I was all set to buy the tailgater and receiver on amazon but after reading the reviews I don't like what I read. Not about the equipment,but the pay as you go service. So what are you using? we've had the PAYG service from DISH for a couple of years now and no issues. the minimum amount of time you're billed is 30-days so you can't turn it on Monday and off on the following Monday and get a refund or credit. we turn it on a few days before we leave by activating it from our online acct or by calling the 800 number. when we return home we just don't pay the bill for the upcoming 30-days. we get the locals in whatever area we're in by calling the 800 number or texting customer service with our new service address...the address of the park, campground or a nearby building. most cases all you need to give is the area code.
