I wanted to update this post.
I put in the 4645 into the camper to replace the old 25 amp Magnatek. It did have 8 gauge wire for pos and neg from the charger to the battery, so I left that in place. Thanks all for the info.
Now is it normal for the converter to have a higher pitch buzzing when hooked to shore power? It goes away when I turn on 5 or more LED bulbs. Changes the buzzing frequency each bulb I turn on.
I did have this converter in my old camper, and do remember some noise, but only use shore power at home to keep charged and cool down the fridge. Thanks!
