This is why I went to 4-1/2 digit ammeter and voltmeter. Toss out the least significant digit and the meters are both remarkably accurate. With millivolt sensitivity I used DeOxit under the shunt screws then the blue preservative. Yes it made a significant difference in readings. Yes the meter lead connections are soldered. I want to know when my 31 is getting into the 1.0 ampere area. When things heat up I will modify float voltage values. Bulk charging to 14.4 must also be adjusted for temperature of the battery. Mine can gain six F measured at the posts. This encourages me to adjust bulk charge max to 14.2 remember my system instantly goes to max voltage regardless of SOC.
