Mex that taller group 31, the GPL-30HT is quite the battery. I'd covet one if I could feed it properly, but the 20% minimum charge rate, and my 198 watts of solar are on opposite ends of the room, and I dont want to have to rely on my Meanwell or alternator.
I did try and push for one on this current project where the GPL-31XT was decided upon, and it almost got a Deka intimidator 31 instead.
I pushed for the lifeline not only for the quality of the brand, but the high amp acceptance ability. In its most intended use, this powerpack will be taking all the alternator can deliver to it, over 2awg. Not sure of the length yet. The PD will mostly be to finish the job when the owner gets home. Plug and play style.
The Deka would have to be limited to ~30 amps maximum according to their recommendations.
Probably makes for a better solar only battery, but My next battery is already decided, the T-1275. I'll still fall a bit short of trojan's 10-13% of capacity charge rate via solar, but not as far shart as I would the 20% of the Lifeline.
