Bad internet. How much difference is there in float voltage claimed between the two brands? Whatever it is, differentiating between identical chemistries is borderline asinine. Marketing ploy? You can bet your sweet bippy on it. There are thousands of AGM batteries in service with voltages in the fourteens to high thirteens and temperatures above 60C.
Hate to tell you this but the whole game of different float voltages with identical chemistry batteries is fluorescent tie and paisley shirt offal. Period. Concorde shot for the absolute maximum float life - I discussed this with their engineers. They are perfectionists. If the chemistry of batteries differ ABSORBSION LIMIT VOLTAGES would be significantly different. ¿Entiendes?
