Yes when the battery is super low it may take some time to get to 14.4 volts. Although you should see the battery voltage steadily rise over maybe 30 to 60 minutes if it has shifted to boost mode.
Sure it is 9260? A 9160 needs a pendent. Otherwise I would be looking at replacement.
So it takes 30 6to 60 minutes to get to 14.4? So it starts out at 13.6, then after 30 to 60 minutes it goes to 14.4, and then at some point it goes back to 13.6, and then finally to 13.2??
When I look at the information here http://progressivedyn.com/charge_wizard.html, seems that it should start out at 14.4, then go to 13.6 then 13.2.
Definitely a 9260 (9260C to be more precise).
