A GOOD campground owner or manager as a matter of course, has a ritual - when someone checks out, an employee CHECKS THE SITE. Faucets shut off, BREAKERS SWITCHED TO OFF, trash pickup duty, dog droppings scooped up, oil drippings from machinery cleaned up. Lack of this site maintenance routine is sheer laziness or mismanagement.
Being a former RV park creator, constructor and maintainer, I can criticize the hell out of mismanagement without being a hypocrite. Some of the laziest business slobs I have ever met are RV park owners and managers.
