I did do some serious nursing on the beat-up 12s since I got them from the golf car shop, so they are not that bad IMO.
Last set of SGs I took when they were deemed fully charged and had a rest, was (ambient 45F)
1.280, 1.280, 1.270, and three 1.290s on one, and
1.275, 1.275, 1.290, and three 1.275s on the other.
They last tested out at approx. 90% of AH rating using the ten hour timed load test with them in parallel, at the 20hr rate. When I got them in August, before any nursing, they were approx. 85% with SGs mostly about 1.260, so I have made some progress.
They hold up very well camping, as least as good as a pair of 6s--the two 12s have about 270AH vs 232AH for the 6s. They have less voltage sag under heavy load too, being 12s.
They are easy to charge up to 100% too, same as my 6s, and unlike those 27DCs I had which were a bear to get to 100. I really like these T-1275s and expect to get a lot of good service from them. Mex will just have to get used to it! :)
