MEXICOWANDERER
Jul 17, 2020Explorer
I thought too that I should have stated the pressure was taken at the showerhead. Before 8PM and before 7AM. When I moved in three years ago the shower did not work. The landlord had to tear out the ceramic tile because the ½" pipe was clogged tight with minerals.
The ceiling leaked badly last winter so I am moving in early August. To a nicer place. Bigger, no foot high step to the bathroom 60' from the bedroom. Older houses here had to lift up the toilet to clear the trap. I hope the new place has a concrete roof. This place has a 2x6 ceiling. I can see the roof rafters, the ½" plywood roof that has asphalt sheeting. Mexican houses have zero insulation.
I came up with the perfect comeback to all the negative stuff many decades ago...
"It Builds Character"
Some older houses have a bathroom a drum of water and a cooking pot to flush the toilet and shower with.
But I will not tolerate a roof leaking water. I've been lucky. The bed stays dry but I will not tolerate it wetting the electronics and tools.
I've got intense plans for a second stimulus payment that involves a catalyst heater for the bedroom. The first check went toward a replacement BiPAP. They refused to sell one to me in the USA without a sleep study which have been closed down since April.
Like I said. It builds character.
