I was going to buy this one because I also have a MW 40 amp power supply. Someone else on here linked to this same meter so they may come along and be able to tell you first hand about it.
I believe what we have to pay attention to is being able to read low amperage below 10 amps. This is a dual range model with a 0 to 10 amp setting. Many of the others wont go to the low DC amps that I'm looking for.
