Plugged new TT into 220v (wired wrong by electrician) HELP?!

I learned the hard way too, years ago. Sister's "friend" set up electrical at her house for my visit. Plugged in and inverter, fridge circuit board, tv and microwave blew. Had to replace them all, expensive vacation! And I had the RV for 1 week!
