Use a 4" square of carpet to apply with and rub with.
Pat - Camp__Forrest__ExplorerI swear by NEVR-DULl. It's a wadding polish that takes some elbow grease but it makes my running boards look like new and holds up a while.
- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerOne of the highest regarded metal polishes in the world is SIMICHROME from Germany. Mauve and yellow box and tube. Some "polishes" are car wax, and would not polish anything. Simichrome contains diamond dust and will polish the blade of a buck knife. A micro fiber shop towel really helps to speed the polishing up.

- Chris_BryantExplorer III have not used it, but I've seen the results of Aluma-Glow, which I suspect is an acrylic in the Red Max/ Zep Wet Look vein. Basically get the aluminum clean and uniform and the coating makes it shine.
