Besides vented Vs non-vented, there is another difference between Platinum Cat and Olympic. The latter has (optional?) legs, and the former has to be installed on the wall or into the floor cabinet. It's possible to attach some legs - if my memory doesn't fail me, somebody attached Olympic legs to the Cat.
