It's amazing how short the wiring run suggestions are getting
Now down to 18" from controller to battery
This it's not a practical distance for most solar installs, even in RVs
No way to get that close in my RV
Even if I mounted it on the bedroom floor of the closet it would still be at least four feet from the BATTERIES
Yes 16ga wire is TO small..
Yes the qd is a nice idea but you need much larger wire
Think of it like this
If you used a reducer and connected a 1/2" water pipe to a 2" water line.. do you think you could still fill the swimming pool at the same rate of water flow..as the open ended 2" pipe
