Buy 2-pole male and female terminals
TWO MALES AND TWO FEMALES.
Buy terminals and seals for 12 gauge wire. Good for 17 amps.
The SECOND set is to make PLUGS to block off terminals when disconnected. Easy to snap together and unsnap. Weather PROOF. Water PROOF. Sun PROOF. Plastic housings are tough. When I make up a cord for an appliance that must have a long cord coiled in the rig I choose SJO wire not SJOO. Absolutely limp.
