Portable solar
Would like to hear from those who own and use a PORTABLE solar panel system. We have 2 campers; Eagle Cap truck camper, and an Airstream trailer. Our power needs are minimal. A few (LED) lights...

Thanks 2oldman. I know there is still a lot of heated debate on 6v vs 12v. and battery brand is also much debated. My design on the skid is being made so that it can handle different brands as the overall dimensions of the batteries vary a little and I should be able to get a couple more batteries (total 6ea) into the skid, if every a need. Since everyone I have talked to tells me "rookies" like me will kill their first batteries I'm pretty sure I will just go with the "fullriver" brand. The local battery store tells me that they can get these (fullriver) faster than some of the other highly regarded brands (Sun-xtender, lifeline).
