Would like to hear from those who own and use a PORTABLE solar panel system. We have 2 campers; Eagle Cap truck camper, and an Airstream trailer. Our power needs are minimal. A few (LED) lights...

Never did see the need for 4 batteries,.....like horses, batteries eat hay, and their heavy, and all those connections are a pita.
And AGMs will need to show me a lot more than I'm seeing before I want any of them"
Come and see my battery bank which weighs more than your car. A person has a choice, live down to the capacity bank or increase its size. Simple enough. Connections need protective coating. A bare connection is screaming for being eaten alive. I am going to have an AGM under my bed. When you stick one of your flooded batteries under your bed, I'll do the same. Everything has a purpose -the trick is being informed enough to know which is suitable for your own particular read UNIQUE needs, and which isn't.
