last shady campground, finally hit 90% at 5 pm but I was very careful with electrical use.
Heavy overcast is where 2 panels in series with mppt you can still charge batteries.
You have 40 volts, cut in half let's say by REALLY overcast skies so 20 volts, mppt will still charge at 14.5 and maximize the amps.
Also half the line loss helps when running 50-100 ft from panels to batts.
20 volt panel, overcast 10 volts...... NADA.
