I found two Radio Shacks within 16-miles of the border. Neither of them were worth snot. They want to sell entire phones, gizmos, and assorted other garbage. Neither one had parts bins for components. They offered a multi-voltage 1-amp power unit with 7-tips for seventeen dollars.
I opened the correct drawer at Willies Electronics and out of 24 pockets only three had plugs. I didn't make it 22 miles inland to Fry's Electronics.
I would sort of like to pick this stuff up at my PO Box - meaning (1) finding good tips not garbage (2) online.
My hopes were set too high. I would love to see a set of Go-No Go-Plug identifiers. Select correct OD hole, then descend down that row until the tip doesn't fit. Like takes 10 seconds to ID a tip. A bit too sophisticated for today's hookah society I guess.
Live on <75kWh per month, plant trees and succulents, repair rather than chew and spit and then I figure a person has the right to call me out on environmental issues. Lead by example is the best way.
