Of many problems that Mex has been dealing with (and quite recently), Alzheimer is not one, AFAIK.
Mex - you've answered your own question. Ebay and Amazon. Buy a "new" old power brick complete the tip. Amazon have free drop-off lockers in 7/11 and other places close to the border - unless you're adventurous enough to order it to Mexico.
With plenty of time and in densely populated lower-income districts in great US of A, I would check some big 2nd hand store, there are old power bricks for $2-3, doesn't matter what voltage, castrate the tip off and solder. But, Segundas in Mexico are not the same thing as I observed.
Trying to standardize them all seems too much trouble to me.
