A detachable power cord is the way to go. The conversion kits from Marinco may or may not work. In some cases the original hop was cut too large and there will either be a gap you can't hide or the;s no material for the mounting screws to bite into. Buy the individual components and make a mounting board for the inlet. I used a piece of KIng Starboard because I had some laying around, but a piece of white cutting board from WalMart will work just as good. Mount it with some SS sheet metal screws and run a bead of silicone around the edge to stop water leaks.
