Place the inverter as close to the battery bank as humanly possible without it being in the same compartment as the battery bank.
Run the 120 volt line to the Fridge. Even #14 would be good for 6 amps @ 120 volts.
For the dc side of the inverter, if you can get it within 4 feet of the battery bank, then 000 AWG would be good.
