Lots of misinformation here. The original post said the lady had a 50 amp "jack" for her RV. But did she? The plug for the RV is a 30 amp plug. So it would seem necessary to find out exactly what the power outlet is that the trailer is plugged into, and what voltage is actually making it into the trailer. Until that point, it's just speculation.
Maybe he should clarify?
So it looks like it's time to dig out the multi-meter and start checking wires and outlets to see what's what.
