for the folks that own both devices - Im wondering what your routine is for connecting....
it would seem that the voltage regulators (autoformer etc) would need to be in like 1st (closest to the pedestal), since the voltage protection devices (like my 50a Progressive Industries EMS-LCHW50) would prevent power from flowing if it were below or above threshold....
BUT i wouldnt want to plug in a voltage regulator before i verified that the wiring & polarity of the pedestal was correct FIRST....since it doesnt seem that the voltage regulators do anything to verify polarity or improper source/pedestal wiring.
do you check the pedestal 1st and then plug in the voltage regulator (auto former) or is it hard wired to be inline 1st & you take the chance ?
