Powering a electric winch
My 2015 F350 diesel comes with 2 batteries, not sure how they are connected, so to connect winch to only 1 or run cable to both? Max draw about 400A.What says the gurus. Frank.

A 400 amp draw is the Maximum draw under full load which seldom if ever would be used. And if it ever is, it may not be continuous duty if it heats up. Some times common sense has to be used, ya think ???!!!
