Both manufacturers build batteries in different qualty grades for different brands. My preference is to buy from a retailer that will back up the brand being sold with warranty service. That might be your local mechanic.
Also, different warranty periods do not always mean differences in grade or quality, the higher price might just represent the added cost of a longer warranty.
