problem with Brake Buddy

Our Brake Buddy will not perform the test after being set-up
It do4s one brake and then refills the compressor instead of 5 brakes
Any idea how to fix without going to Kansas

What power source do you have it plugged into? If you don't have the Direct-To-The-Battery kit that Brake Buddy offers, you could be seeing a power shortage. Most newer vehicle "Power Outlets" are 10-amp with skinny wire.

BB has a price on the kit, but if you call mentioning trouble, they'll send you the kit free.

Counter-intuitive, but they told me the logic of brake application uses more power than the compressor. Go figure, but that's what their tech said.
  • Good service from Brake Buddy, I burned up a compressor due to insufficient current supply. Was repaired quickly, and some other parts were shipped at a different time free.
  • I had to send mine back for a compressor issue. They returned it very fast to me. Give them a call!
  • We had trouble with ours, after years of good service. We sent it to them with a polite request for quick service. They repaired it promptly and sent it to an address where we planned to be.

Just days ago, I emailed them about some small replacement parts. They mailed them with no charge.

    These are good people.
