I agree with Don, (Don the Pianotuna, not Don the OP)
We have 420 Watts of solar, 480 AH of battery (4 X 6V GCs) Solar, Xantrex Prosine 2.0 (2KW PSW) Inverter/Charger (and ALL negative battery leads) are connected to a buss and Shunt for the Trimetric. The inverter will draw 160 amps from the batteries when using the microwave, a Sharp micro-convection oven.
