Question,
I see you both a inverter and converter, (in your install),
don't they both DO the same thing, depending on which power source is being used,
convert or invert, either or AC/DC power to another power type?

Slightly confused again, :@ with this terminology.

A converter takes AC to DC to run your DC system and charge batteries. The inverter takes DC to AC to run you standard electric equipment. Then you have Converter/Inverter which does both jobs. This is a very simple explanation.
