We need to know at what voltage your power shuts off. Mine will cycle off at 108V regardless of the number of amps so you need to monitor voltage, not amps. Running both the AC and water heater is pushing the upper limit of many 30amp service especially if the plugs are corroded. If everything is going OK but every several hours your power shuts down... turn the ice maker off. Yes, it took me awhile to figure that one out. With practice I've learned to get along very well on 30 amps or less and do not avoid them. Granted we boondock often so having 30 amps is heavenly.
