Programming duotherm thermostat

Thanks to both of you!! I been doing it backwards. Wonder it worked at all.

Press zone to switch zones, then press mode to make that zone operate in whatever mode you wish. If the new zone is in a different mode, it will look like it is switching modes.
Keep in mind each zone also has its own set point, so you also have to set each zones temperature.

Thanks for responding, Chris. It has five buttons. It may well be that I don't know how to set it properly.Mode button is on top. Zone button on bottom. Pressing zone button will change mode. I thought thermostat was messing up. Perhaps all that is wrong is that I need a primer on setting it, if you don't mind.

Which Thermostat do you have? They made the multi zone Comfort Control Center in 4 button, 5 button and 10(12) button versions. All of these use separate zones- you must set each zone to do what ever you want it to, they will never operate completely in tandem, as they will have separate temperature sensors. You should be able to set zone 1 to cool, then switch to zone 2 and set it on cool.
