Phil, you charge at the Float voltage so of course you don't see the overcharge thing.
If your Flooded batts lost electrolyte on their set Float voltage, then that voltage was too high for the temperature. Eg 13.2 is for 77F. Don't you guys in CA need your parkas when it gets down to 77F? :)
