No, I got it strictly to use should I find the 30 amp broken.
However, as the poster after you suggested, it might be good to use it all the time since the 50 amp outlet sees much less wear than the 30 outlet.

I have a progressive unit also, and had one time it kept kicking out at a Campground due to faulty ground issue. Have a dogbone on hand , and will use it if it improves things, thanks Joe
