My portable EMS shuts down due to either to high voltage & too low voltage. The EMS is a surge protector, high/low voltage protector, reverse polarity protector, plus a lot of other stuff.
If you have a hard wired PI MS, you should be good to go.

I'm aware it will prioritize systems when needed, but nothing in the manual indicates a shut down feature. Also, is it necessary to have a surge protector with the EMS? How large. The park where we are staying is having electrical issues with surging.
