Propane Cooktop

I have a 3 burner Suburban cooktop. Is there a way to adjust the flame lower? The way it is now, there is no way to simmer anything.
  • I have verified the propane pressure and even tweaked it down to 10.5 inches of water which helped a little. The one thing I have not done is check the pressure at the burners but I'm not real sure what it should be. I would assume the stove regulator would create a little lower than the main reg. pressure. Anyone know?

WHY would you do this??????? The LP pressure MUST be 11.5 inches and the Range has its OWN LP regulator that drops it to 10.5 inches. Now, your whole RV has inadequate LP pressure. Doug

PS, this is what happens when you don't know what you are doing:B

Try pulling the knob off and look inside the shaft. Some models have an adjustment screw inside the shaft. Use a flat blade screwdriver to adjust the flame while it is at the minimum setting.
