Propane Cooktop

I have a 3 burner Suburban cooktop. Is there a way to adjust the flame lower? The way it is now, there is no way to simmer anything.

Are you stating that no matter how you turn the burner knobs the flame stays the SAME on all 3 burners? They have a LOW to HIGH adjustment on the knob. DO NOT SEAL AND DRILL A NEW ORIFICE. Doug
  • Remove the orifice, solder it shut then redrill it smaller? Maybe you can buy a smaller orifice
  • I try to get the flame as low as it can go and then I use a simmering plate on top of the burner. It seems to work.
