I have observed at several large companies a tendency for the HR people to seek to replace highly qualified and experienced personnel with recent HS dropouts they can get cheaper. Hey, it's a warm body to fill the seat, saves Big Bucks, especially if then can do it with a couple part-timers with no benefits. Never mind the whole place goes to hell -- that's not HR's problem!
