You don't mention how you use the scale, if "when the propane starts coming out, shut off the fill..."
Gotta know how much propane you owe for ;)
Certainly, that's a possible answer.
Many of us do not pay by the weight, but I can see that if one does so, that would work.
We'll see what the poster says. The poster says they use other than weight to determine when full. :@
I've not seen a scale where they fill them. The gauge on the pump usually indicates about 7 gallons when liquid starts coming out of the vent. My biggest complaint is as many tanks/cylinders this guy probably does in a day or week, you would think that since ALL of the vent screws turn counter-clockwise to open, he should be able to remember which direction to turn them to open. Then to continue to try and force the screw to turn the wrong direction and cause damage is beyond reasonable thought to me. And then have the nerve to tell me my tank is damaged and not refillable is pushing the limits of my patience. And on top of that, telling me he is doing me a favor..... What that favor is is beyond me.
Glad it wasn't me. I have a short fuse, no patience with stupid and a mean quick right. I get to a point and it's bust your nose time. You won't see it coming but you'll sure feel it.
