Job ethics are going down the drain I am sad to notice.
In the past, before the float valves I had station attendant filling up my 5-gallons cylinder without opening the vent.
He consider it filled once the pump stop pushing anymore.
When I pointed that -he start arguing with me.
I paid for 5 gallons of propane, carefully load the cylinder in rear storage in my motorhome to take it home and transfer some propane to other cylinder I had.
Those days I am having swimming pool build on my property. General Contractor is sending subcontractors for each job and when excavation guys did very good job, electricians drop a lot of loose dirt into hole.
Inspector pointed that the dirt needs to be cleaned before concrete spray.
So for gunite spray subcontractor had a crew of 7. I pointed the loose dirt and was promised it will be cleaned.
Yet they never bother to remove it.
Gunite job cost $20,000 yet the guys did not hesitate to jeopardize it for few minutes of preparation. I call it kindergarten mentality coming from guys who want to make 20 grands in 1 day.
That applies to RV's too. Why you find wood scraps, sawdust and cigarette butts under cabinets and inside places in your camper. No one cares, just make the buck and go on...
