propane hose type

I have a propane hookup on the outside of my 2007 Jayco Jayflight 5er and was wondering what type of propane hose i would use to connect to my bbq grill. My grill now uses those small propane bottles that you throw away after its empty.

Thanks in dvance,
Jason
  • I have been wondering the same thing as JKwock. Does anyone have a part or kit number for the conversion kit?

I have looked at Amazon and wasn't sure what to look for.
  • Camco sells conversion kit and hose. Several differet brands of quick connects on the market. All made different. Go with Camco.

that line is low pressure, most grills are high pressure, including all that use the small propane bottles.
  • More than likely, there is a pressure regulator on the grill. There are some grills where it can be removed. Others, you can't. Going from a low pressure quick connect to a throwaway bottle adapter won't work due to being double regulated.
