Propane issues

Ok, here is the deal. We are hooked to a 100lb propane tank. When the tank gets down to around 30%, the indicator on my regulator shows red. Supply is switched to the 100lb tank feed.

I try to light the stove and the propane flow (flame) is real low. Furnace at this point doesn't work. I turn the furnace to off. I let the stove flame for a bit and the flow gets better. Then I'm able to turn the furnace back on.

Any thoughts?

    You could have a small leak allowing air to get into the system. Once the air has been purged, the flame returns to normal.
    My guess it is in the line to the first tank or the regulator.
    You could soap down the fittings and the vent on the regulator.
