Propane leak!!!
Just as I'm finishing packing to drive to FLA I opened the main valve on my permanently mounted propane tank to check the furnace. Gas started coming out of the valve handle! That never happened bef...

I was able to take it to a gas & welding place that said they could empty the tank & replace the valve, but today the valve did not leak. They even sprayed some leak test fluid on it & it's good. They said just to check it every time I open it. I think in yesterdays 10 degree temp something in the valve froze stuck & when opened leaked. Today it's good. Even ran the furnace for a while & it's good. Have a few minor things to fix, but I think it's good to go to FLA.
But now the snow is starting, 4-6" by tomorrow eve. So I may just stay here, watch the SB tomorrow & leave Tuesday after all is clear.
