Propane leak!!!
Just as I'm finishing packing to drive to FLA I opened the main valve on my permanently mounted propane tank to check the furnace. Gas started coming out of the valve handle! That never happened bef...

I cannot really advise you to use it, but if it were mine, I would open the valve all the way, check with leak solution, and if it isn't leaking, I would use it.
Texas law does NOT allow rebuilding of LP valves and regulators and I suspect other states that have LP laws state the same. Besides you are at a big liability by attempting to rebuild a valve(commercially). Doug
