Propane steak saver adapter not legal in Canada?

We have two brand new Mr. Heater Propane Grill Steak Saver Adapters (#F276171) like in the photo, that we listed for sale on CL. Got a message from a licensed gasfitter that said these are illegal in...

Is the one below the same as yours? They look slightly different. If yours is the same, they are illegal in Canada.....Dennis

Mr. Heater illegal tank refill adapter

On edit: It appears YOURS is the one listed below. They are NOT illegal as they simply allow you to connect a 1# canister to your grill it the big one goes empty.
