Actually, in the years we've been camping with any one of trailers we've owned with dual tanks and an auto changeover regulator I've run out of gas in the middle of the night just once. Yea, like anyone else I could run with both tank valves open but I choose not to as I'd much rather not end up in a situation when both tanks have run dry ... using my tanks sequentially, that can't happen. Personal choice. :)
